Aluminium has become the go-to choice for architects designing window frames in new houses. With their chic battleship greys or subtle charcoal colour, aluminium frames have come a long way since the 1980s.

uPVC (Unplasticized Polyvinyl Chloride) material is based on plastic powder, which is heated up and injected into a mould to form its shape known as a profile. After that, it gets cooled through different methods. Profiles are then cut and joined using heat-fusion welding. Galvanized steel reinforcement sections are then fixed inside the uPVC profiles to provide strength.

Modern aluminium windows are a great option for increasing kerb appeal or finishing off a contemporary home or commercial building. A huge part of your overall project – both in look and feel – it’s important to get the design right and within budget.
